Updated COVID-19: Recording & Alternatives
Thank you to the staff and clients (our family) for riding this continuous wave for the past several months. Although we are not out of the woods, we have decided to open but at very limited capacity. In an effort to keep our clients, guests and team members healthy we will be recording only at our Fifth Avenue location and keeping all other recordings remote audio and video podcast recording until it is safe for us to open at our Times Square location.
First, we are all in this together. If there is any way that we can support our neighbors, friends and family (grocery shopping, errands, warm words of encouragement, etc.) please let us know. These are not simply nice words but a way of life that we adhere to at Hangar.
We are, after all, a family of humankind.
Second, as podcast listenership is on the rise, we have been extremely fortunate to have already provided numerous clients with remote recordings making the transition for all of our clients easier. At this point, here are a couple of options for those concerned with the consistency of their shows and for those who would like to keep on recording from the safety of their home:
We have a great alternative to coming into the studio to record audio and/or video and that is the ability to connect you to your guest remotely from your home or business. One suggestion for existing shows is to call attention at the top of the show: “Due to the unprecedented times we are facing and for precautions due to the pandemic, we are recording from our homes. Now on with the show…”
We were fortunate to have had this as a service for a number of years, therefore, the transition for our current clients has been effortless.
Please contact us to set up your remote recordings.
"Best Of" Episodes
We can edit together a “Best Of” episode. This option is best for shows that have more than 15 or so episodes released. Our team can assemble a “best of episode” based on clips of your choosing. To set this up we can connect with you remotely and have you record the “Best Of” intro where you would state, for example: “This week on XXXX, we are taking a look back at some of our favorite moments from our show.”
